COVID-19 PHASE 3 PRESS RELEASE

To all our friends, neighbors and customers,

We have now entered in the Illinois COVID-19 Phase 3 guidelines. The health and safety of our customers and employees is of the utmost importance.   It is our top priority during this time to keep our community and employees safe and will be following the safety guideline outlined in the IDPH for retail businesses.

Starting today we will be open normal business hours.   We want to make sure everyone’s safety is our priority and we will follow the IDPH’s request on the number of guests at any given time in the sales department and showroom. We are also following the CDC guidelines with:

  • Face masks and/or face coverings.
  • Social distancing.
  • Hand sanitizers and disinfected common areas.
  • Employee and supplier temperature checks and wellness screening program.
  • Reasonable accommodation for COVID-19-vulnerable employees.

Mike Murphy Ford does not want to put anyone at risk. With the uncertainty of what has transpired with COVID-19, we want to emphasize that our employees’ and customers’ health is our utmost concern.

  Ongoing Practices:

 SERVICE DEPARTMENT

  •  You can schedule your service needs online or call directly to our Service Department 309.263.2311 and we will make every effort to assist you.
  • We will still be taking extreme precautions for our elderly and vulnerable customers by offering:
  • Dropping your vehicle off and utilizing our key drop box. We will contact you once service has been completed.
  • Special arrangements for any customer when needed.
  • The best sanitization and precautions will be taken from start to finish. After all service visits to our dealership, your vehicle will be disinfected at all its major touch points before you get in.

SALES DEPARTMENT

  • Our Sales Department will be by open but you are still able to set an APPOINTMENT and have everything set up ahead of time.
  • Our virtual showroom will be open 24/7 giving you the ability to shop from the comfort of your home by visiting https://www.mikemurphyford.com.

We will make any arrangements necessary to assist our current and future customers and try to make this time as easy as possible for them.

We are here to do whatever we can to make this difficult time as easy on our customers as possible.  We will continue to monitor the situation and will proceed with the state’s recommendations on how our business is handled to best serve the community.

The health and safety of our customers and employees is of the utmost importance.   Just like you, we are closely monitoring new developments regarding COVID-19 (coronavirus). It is our top priority during this time to keep our community and employees safe.  For this reason, business will not be as usual here at Mike Murphy Ford.

Currently our sales staff will be conducting business by APPOINTMENT ONLY until further notice.   We want to make sure everyone’s safety is our priority and we want to follow the Governor’s request to limit our customer access in our sales department and showroom. We are also following the CDC guidelines with “social distancing” and hand sanitizers at every turn.

  •  Our Service and Parts departments will be open normal hours Monday – Friday 7AM to 6PM and Saturday 8AM – 4PM to assist Central Illinoisans.

  • You can schedule your service needs online or call directly to our Service Department 309.263.2311 and we will make every effort to assist you.
